The National Collaborating Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCCID) gathers, synthesizes and disseminates current information, and ensures it reaches public health practitioners to the benefit of all Canadians. We identify gaps in research and knowledge and bring it to the attention of researchers and their funding bodies. Our focus areas include HIV/STBBI prevention, partner notification, as well as outreach to priority populations.
