The Peer to Peer Program was established to increase engagement in health care for individuals living with HIV. The Peer Program is a mentorship program, which Peer Mentors living with HIV provide support to mentees who are living with HIV. Peer Mentors can support others who are learning to cope with daily challenges of living with HIV. Peer Mentors attend monthly meetings and also host a Peer to Peer Group, which is a drop-in discussion group for all people living with HIV. The program believes that no one understands the reality of HIV better than someone who lives with it every day.
