Positive Prevention: Program Elements

Program Elements: A review of how effective positive prevention program address the factors that play a role in HIV risk, including the social determinants of health, universal access to prevention tools, stigma and discrimination and criminalization. It also examines how encouraging education, capacity building and improved testing, as well as behaviours that strengthen prevention efforts, such as healthy attitudes towards sex and sexuality, practice of the GIPA principle and the respect and promotion of human rights, work to promote positive prevention.
