The CIHR Social Research Centre in HIV Prevention (SRC)

In 2010, the SRC launched a funding program, which was intended to support pilot/feasibility projects that would lead to published manuscripts, research initiatives, and future grant applications to external funding sources. Seed funding allowed teams to conduct critical analysis of current research knowledge and methods, and to generate new tools and theories for HIV social science research and prevention. Funding was provided to both researchers and students for research and knowledge translation activities.
