A little more about me:
I am a primary care nurse practitioner (NP) and oversee focused practices in HIV PrEP and hepatitis B & C in Windsor, Chatham, London, and Toronto. In my free time, I volunteer as a primary care NP to support persons who are at-risk of, or are being trafficked.
My research focuses on increasing hepatitis B, C, and HIV screening and treatment through alternative diagnostic and systems approaches. I am especially interested in increasing screening uptake and linkage to care among prenatal, pediatric, gay and bisexual men, and women engaged in sex work.
I hold faculty appointments at Western and McMaster Universities; teach in the Ontario-wide primary care NP training program; and train non-specialist providers in HIV PrEP and the management and treatment of hepatitis C.
